Did You Know?
• Hundreds of seniors are living in poverty. Some of them live at an income level that offers no safety net when an unexpected crisis occurs. Many of these individuals now find themselves without a family structure to depend on in time of need.
• Unfortunately many Veterans, are in need of help as well.

In 1976 somebody (unfortunately we don't know exactly who) saw a need to start a program to help feed those less fortunate.
The operation grew rapidly and it was soon realized that the need was larger than it was originally anticipated and The Kingman Area Food Bank was born.

Our mission hasn't changed:
"We are designed to help people get through a rough time, to help them get back on their feet".
